Dr. Lekan Sheriff Ojulari is a Reader (Associate Professor) of Physiology and Acting Head of Department at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds an MBBS from the University of Ilorin and MSc and PhD degrees in Physiology from the University of Lagos. With over 15 years of academic and professional experience, Dr. Ojulari has served in various teaching, research, and administrative roles across several Nigerian universities.

His research focuses on endocrinology, metabolic physiology, and diabetes screening using non-invasive tools such as handgrip strength and urinary C-peptide/creatinine ratio. He has supervised multiple MSc and PhD students and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, including Q1–Q3 Scopus-indexed publications.

He is a member of several professional bodies including the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Physiological Society of Nigeria (PSN), ASMEDA, and NISEB. He has represented the University in numerous national and international conferences and contributed significantly to curriculum development, quality assurance, and institutional leadership.
