Biography

Abdulbasit AMIN is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin with 10 years university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served as level advisor and coordinator of several exams at the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences and a Faculty representative at the Faculty of Management Sciences. With an interest in neuroendocrinology and metabolism, Dr. Amin has to his credit over 50 publications in reputable outlets covering journals, and edited conference proceedings. His works have accrued more than 500 citations as per google scholar. He has successfully supervised over 10 undergraduate research projects and theses. Dr. Amin I a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria such as the American Physiological Society, Portuguese Physiological Society, Physiological Society of Nigeria, among others.
