The Acting Director, University of Ilorin Security Unit, Mr Paul Bamidele Ogidi, has attributed the prevailing peace and general security situation on the University campus to enduring collaboration with stakeholders, deployment of modern technology, and proactiveness of the institution’s security personnel

Mr Ogidi disclosed this last Tuesday (September 9, 2024) while fielding questions on a popular Yoruba Programme, ‘Oro to n lo’, on UNILORIN FM anchored by the Station Manager, Mr Idris Akintola Ibrahim (Alooma).

He also attributed youth involvement in cybercrime to greed, ignorance and lack of contentment. He advocated for good parenting, job opportunities, moral guidance, and support from religious leaders and monarchs to reduce the incidence of suicide.
