Dr. OYABAMBI, Adewumi Oluwafemi (B.Sc., MB; BS, MPH. M.Sc., Ph.D.), is a medical doctor and an Associate Professor of Physiology in the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

A Recipient of’ Keystone Symposia Global Health Travel Award by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (2020); Co-Investigator in the 2017-2018 (MERGED) Tetfund/IBRF Research Grant (2019); University of Ilorin prize for publications in Q1 Journals. An astute researcher and teacher in the field of Cardiovascular and Nutritional metabolism. He supervised over 70 undergraduate students’ projects and 5 postgraduate students. He was Chairman, Animal House Committee, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (2020-2022). Current Chairman, Departmental Research Ethical Committee, (2018- to date); Business Manager, Savannah Journal of Medical Research and Practice (2018-date). He belongs to many associations including the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Association of Specialist Medical Doctors in Academics (ASMEDA), Physiological Society of Nigeria (PSN), NISEB and many others. He is interested in investigations into emerging therapy and changes in Cardiorenal Physiology and metabolism.

He has to his credit about 45 publications and 120 citations in reputable outlets across the world covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books.
