Lawrence Aderemi OLATUNJI, is a Professor in the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences with over 25 years of University teaching, research and administrative experiences. He has served as Head of Department, Faculty Research Manager, Chairman Faculty Publication Committee, and Dean of the faculty. Currently he is the Chairman Examination Malpractice committee and Director of the Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) on Education for Sustainable Development, IIorin. His current research interest is in Cardiovascular-metabolic and Exercise Physiology. He has to his credit over 200 publications with google Scholar h-index of 21 and Scopus h-index of 16. He has successfully supervised over 15 Masters dissertations and 10 Ph.D. Theses. He has equally won several national and international scholarships, research awards, grants, academic honours and recognitions. Currently, Professor Olatunji is a fellow of the International Society of Hypertension, a member of a member of many professional bodies and editorial boards.
