Biography

Luqman Aribidesi OLAYAKI  holds MB;BS, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, University of Lagos, Lagos and University of Ilorin, Ilorin, respectively. He is the Chairman of the University of Ilorin Petrol Station Management Board and has served as the Head of Department of Physiology and the Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. He serves on the Editorial Board of Savannah Journal of Medical Research and Practice and a reviewer to many journals.

Prof. Olayaki’s major research interests are in endocrine and reproductive physiology. He has over 100 scholarly publications in national and international journals to his credit and has successfully supervised 8 Ph.D. theses, 17 M.Sc. dissertations and over 150 B.Sc. projects in Physiology. He is a member of several local and international learned and professional societies and has won several grants and awards to attend international conferences and for research training.
