Wahab Imam ABDULMAJEED is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin with 10 years university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

Dr. Abdulmajeed is a trained slice electrophysiologist with special interest in Cellular Neuroscience and Synaptic Physiology.  He is interested in using multi-level approaches to understand changes in synaptic plasticity and/or excitation/inhibition balance in different neurological disease models. Also, using interdisciplinary approach, he is investigating the effects of nutraceuticals on heavy metal and organophospahate-induced neurotoxicity in experimental animals. He has won many awards and has several publications in local and International journals.
